Incoming! Rolex Datejust Ref.16234
Today, I pulled the trigger on an early 30th birthday present to myself, a Rolex Datejust reference 16234.
Out of all the different Rolex models I was considering, I thought I'd seriously look at a Submariner or an Explorer as my first Rolex. Instead, I decided on the Datejust. Why? Because it's the classic Rolex. Subs are everywhere & the Explorer while simple, has no date which is an important feature for me. I'm very happy with my purchase. The Datejust I chose is white gold on a jubilee bracelet with a silver/off-white dial and stick/roman numeral indices from the 1980's. It's damn awesome and my most expensive watch to date. While this watch is to commemorate my 30th birthday, it is much more than that. Most importantly, it serves as a reminder to myself how God has blessed me and of my loving parents and sister. Looks absolutely fantastic! I am considering almost the exact same watch. What size is your wrist? I think I want the 36mm but without being able to try on the 41mm, I’m not sure. Yours looks perfect
