93160 Bracelet Doesn’t Lock?
Forgive me if this has been asked before.
My 93160 bracelet doesn’t lock because of the link the bar goes into is a semi circle unlike other bracelets that have grove that locks it in place. Does anyone know why the diver’s extension is designed like this? Cheers! |

They don't lock (mostly) due to wear on the bar. You may be able to fix the problem by opening out the extension piece and adjusting the stamped part that attaches to the bar (straightening it slightly or bending it more) so that there is more friction when the bar locates in the semi-circular cut out in the link.
Its a common problem on those bracelets when they get more worn. HTH

Do you know if the semi-circular cut out in the link is supposed to be a semi-circle, or has that cut out section been worn down? |

The notch on the 93160 simply allows the links to lay flat inside the clasp, they do not "lock" into place like the later 93250 J-slot links do.

Ah thanks for the explanation. It’s a weird design in my opinion. Maybe it was designed that way so it’s easier for divers to extend it without having to unhook it like the j-slot links?

Locking links were later.
