Tourneau now has Exhibition ONLY Hot Rolex Models!

Anyone else hear about this? I heard it's the store in Manhattan so not sure if it's everywhere else.

It's the new policy. AD has to stock certain numbers of watches for display. They cannot sell new watches until they fill up their inventory that is dictated by Rolex. Hence, display only. It's across the board.

Not true. My Boutique is allegedly the 3rd highest volume dealer in the US and they are not participating.

It'll be cool to see and try on models people were thinking about. It'd really solidify the wait lists/interest lists. I'm sure there are a few I'd add to my lists if I saw in person.

I think it should be everywhere for Rolex, but you still can pick up the pre-order items.

West Palm Beach store has plenty of display models to try on. Was there last week and tried out 10 different SS models….none for sale.

Tourneau now has Exhibition ONLY Hot Rolex Models!

Torneau NY… sent by a friend today.

Obviously these are fully functional, and in the brief time my friend was in the store, customers were attempting to purchase them without success. As if the sales reps had it bad before with no inventory, now they get to deal with telling people no to a watch right in front of them.

How does Chicago, the nation’s third largest city, have no display models?

This is interesting. So fully functional (for sale) watches on display and AD has to tell customers to their face..

Multiple signs that say “FOR EXHIBITION ONLY” and SAs tell you upfront they are for viewing and trying on only.
