One can single out the Daytona as a bubble bursting, but many other hot pieces will fall before that happens. Just reflecting based on history and direct personal experience over the last 20 years of collecting. Daytona's were always a sought after premium piece. When AD's had inventory in their cases one could see steel Subs, GMT's and Sea Dwellers. You did not often see a Daytona and if you did in steel version there would be very few. Back then they would even discount some of the steel professional models, but Daytona's were not discounted. Sold full MSRP. Supply and demand even back then that will be reflected when a market correction takes place. Don't expect big drops soon.

Daytona’s aren’t going up, the money is going down. Welcome to the world of $9 coffee and $40 breakfasts.

The discontinued daytonas are rising…..the ceramics will probably be made another 5-7 years easily…..so they won’t keep rising at the same rate
