Took the plunge... 124270

Hey folks,

I debated if I should go for it or not and ultimately decided to take it...

Honestly, in person, it is gorgeous... Nicer than I expected...

So now I have both the 114270 and 124270

I would love to hear your thoughts after you get acquainted.

I fell for the 114270 back in December after reading the Hodinkee Explorer history article. When I finally saw one in person at an estate jewelry store I was underwhelmed. I have the 124270 and think they have done a wonderful job comparatively.

Congrats and wear in good health. For me this is the one to get in the current lineup. It also photographs so well :)

Awesome choice mate! Can't wait for mine next week!

I tried the 114270 too and was similarly underwhelmed but the 124270 is in an entirely different experience (based on the short time I tried it in-store in May prior to getting the call this week)

Honestly, too early to say... I will try to get back to you with that info... But the 124270 is surprisingly sharp and handsome in real life... Sits incredibly well on my 6.75 inch wrist...

Honestly... It is AWESOME... It feels like Rolex put a lot of hard work into that model (at least in my eyes).

It all integrates very well!
