New Yacht-Master 42 RLX Titanium & Cordura Bracelet

Not sure if this has been posted/covered before but saw this in the latest Issue #9 of the Rolex Magazine. Quick and dirty scans to see the details to follow.
How long until this one of a kind prototype becomes available?

I’ll be honest. Not a fan of luxury titanium watches (maybe I’ll change my mind one day), but I’d love the option of buying an official strap like that for my Sub. Or for any future YMs I might get. The watch, much like the regular YM42 looks great! Thanks for posting.

YM42 Hyperlite. Interesting. Has Rolex ever made a production Ti watch?

I feel like a heard about this a while ago. My understanding was that this model would never make it to market. It was made specifically for this individual. I could be wrong but that’s what I remember.

Saw this a while ago but somehow only just noticed this is caliber 3230, no date.

Cool (apart from the strap...)

Should be way less expensive than the white gold variant

Interesting. I haven’t seen this. Thanks for sharing.

I would rather PM, but honestly as I doubt I would ever be able to afford the PM version I would be a buyer.

I predict Rolex selling a velcro strap when Brioni sells suit trousers with a velcro fly.

I love the look! This no-date YM, with its superior case shape and matte bezel is the no-date Submariner of my dreams. Please, Rolex, make it so.

It would make for one of the most interesting watches in the professional line.

RLX Titanium eh? Sounds trademarky.....

I got all excited about this when the America’s cup was being held and was hoping it was going to be released at watches and wonders in April ,

I would buy this if it came available

This is a one off watch made for Ainslee for promotional purposes during the America’s Cup. I suppose it could make it into production one day as some photo type cars do. The Titanium and bracelet were designed around the beating a watch would take driving an AC boat…
I also would be a buyer if it were ever released!

Looks nice. I wish I could like the feel of titanium in a watch

Too close to a silver BB58. Other than the weight, I'd opt for the Tudor.

I'd line up for one if it were put in production, but my readily available Pelagos on MN strap will hold me over just fine until then. That would make a killer pair of watches though.
