FS: 1978 Rolex Submariner 5513 Pre-Comex Dial

Serial #: 5228XXX

Description: Case: The previously polished case is excellent showing some wear from use. The underside tip of the 1 o'clock lug has a small ding. The bezel insert is excellent and has faded to a dark grey tone showing some light wear from use. Dial: The matte black pre Comex dial is very good showing some very subtle tonal variations and a sparse but evenly distributed speckling patina. The lume has aged to a vibrant creamy hue and the hands match perfectly. Bracelet: Th 11 link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing some light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1977 date code. Accessories: None.
