AP/Patek rose gold is closer to Rolex YG than Rolex RG.

Rolex RG is too copperish and that is a complaint that I have heard from many many people.

The rose gold version is quite amazing but to me the yellow gold DD is the traditional one.

anything with ever rose looks smashing, for me it feels warm and inviting, like hot chocolate.

Nothing like Everose to me! The copperish look warms it up and tones it down. Over the years it has become my favorite PM.

I find Rolex rose gold to be a little too coppery in colour. Very Michael Kors like. It looks lovely on the ladies though.

I never thought I would like RG on me, but I dipped my toe in the pool with the RG YM, and then the TT CHNR, and...well, the rest is history.

People like it because it is hot right now. To me the classic dd is yellow gold. That is the balls.

Not all the links. I'm a 5 and 5 guy using the last/first pin placement in the clasp. The one that gives you the most room. All the way out

Two in the box. That set up puts my clasp dead center and gives "my" wrist the most comfort.

And from memory the RB is like 212 and SkyD is 232. I made a post asking the weight about the SkyD before I got it and the most common reply was in the 240's. Turned out correct with all the links.

DD40 Everose Gold, why it’s so appealing to wear?

For me that’s the DD to have.

YG looked too loud under the light. While WG too similar to steel.

Having said that, the best RG tone I have seen so far is that of AP.

I completely agree with this statement except the AP the copperish tone of the Rolex to me is perfect

why would you spend the money on platinum or white gold it looks like stainless steel and yellow gold is a very close 2nd to the RG

RG is not now hot. It has been for years! AP, Patek, Lange, Rolex etc. nothing new here.

I have a TT yellow gold DJ which pairs well with its ivory dial as well as a Pink Gold TT DJ from 1972.

For a full PM watch id have to say Rose Gold over yellow for me personally, maybe even white Gold, but I think a lot depends on the reference itself.

If I could only have one PM piece I would go with the classic YG. Being fortunate to have all three golds I get to mix them up.

If I were into PM watches, I’d definitely want to try RG, but I’d probably want to want the more traditional YG as well.

I personally still love the white gold models, especially the meteorite gmt and daytona but my favorite everose is probably the rhodium sky dweller or the gmt root beer

In terms on diminishing my love for white gold and yellow gold, rose gold has not really done that because I still love the yacht master ii y-gold and submariner blue dial full y-gold
