Tourneau has Become Rolex Museum

All shelves are for exhibition. Nothing for sales. I got to try all models. It was fun.

Nothing for sale (to you) at that point you went in.

But all ADs have watches to sell at some point, if not all the time.

Also, it’s much easier to get a Rolex by not insisting on getting what’s everyone else wants.

A lot of people seem to enjoy insisting that a Rolex AD has nothing to sell them when what they mean is that the AD has nothing they want.

The SAs are pretty much booked solid with appointments for customers to purchase new watches. Not a museum; it’s a mint.

SAs were busy with appointments for customers buying new watches? All the SA looked busy and frustrated with customers trying the watches from exhibition.

Because the appointments to pick up watches that were already accounted for (sold) don’t happen every minute of the day. As has been covered many times, AD’s and SA’s are making more money than ever before. Just because they’re selling their Rolex before they hit the shelves in most instances as opposed to selling them at a steady pace throughout the day doesn’t mean they’re not working or not making any commissions.

We were just in Paris 2 weeks ago - Place Vendome was pretty pathetic and I don't mean just lack of Rolex. But there are other options out there during this period of time. Got to check out some Grand Seiko and a few other brands I've been curious about but haven't seen in the flesh.

New Mayors boutique had full cases of exhibition watches and a line at the door. I just walked by and laughed to myself.

That’s got to be sadistic to try on a watch you can buy on the spot.

PREDICTION: Rolex is so hot right now… it’s just a matter of time until burglars start committing smash and grab robberies for the AD’s dummy models.
