As much as I love the YG GMT I think I'd have to do that.

$60k USD for a 116718LN YG is above market value.

If someone is willing to pay you that go do it.

Why do they want to pay that much over the odds for yours? They could buy for substantially less with a warranty. Who approached who?

Wow! I love my 116718, but I think I’d let it go for 50k...

To me it comes down to what watch I want to own and wear.

Almost every reference falls into the “it’s worth more now that it was” scenario, especially if bought at MRSP from an AD.

So if you really love the GMT, I wouldn’t sell it, but if I didn’t and wanted the DD, I would

Something seems off here. My overall recommendation is please do your due diligence and be sure you’re dealing with somebody you trust. In other words, only take a wire or something that cannot be reversed if you’re selling. That seems like an inflated price for a pre-owned RG GMT, but it also isn’t absurd given where the market is.

Also, do you have the Day/Date ready to go? This is not an easy watch to get now, and there are people waiting years for it. I wouldn’t do this unless the AD has the Day/Date in hand.

116718LN must be a green dial for that price. I think you got a very good deal.

If you like Day-Date better, go for it but RG Day-Date Olive dial isn't that easy to get now.

I'd do that in a heartbeat but also like others have said, make sure they pay you in a manner that is non reversible.

And how would you go about buying a green rose dd for retail? I highly doubt your ad is allowing you to order that piece. Unless things works very differently in the Netherlands
