All of this nonsense could be eliminated if Rolex maintained current MSRP but allowed AD's to add an ADM (additional dealer markup). This would eliminate the speculative buying and people just buying anything they are offered because they know they can flip it for a quick buck. My guess is that this single action would stabilize the market on all but the most popular models, that would lead to a little more equilibrium. All the flippers on this forum do not like this idea though. I would not mind paying a premium to the AD to have the assurance of buying from an AD and not some joker on the internet.
