There are a lot of nice watches out there. If your goal is a pepsi or rootbeer, the fewer steps taken to get there the better. So you have a YM40 (discontinued). Its 1 month old. Enjoy it. When you are ready for the pepsi of rootbeer, trade it in and add the difference in cash. No reason to trade for a more expensive watch that isnt what you are looking for.

Not a fan of the Wimbledon dial. However, I would keep the YM. That's an awesome watch and that dial is no longer produced. If it were me, I would keep it and spend the 5K on an Omega to go with it!

Well guys, I wanna thank you for all your great responses. The decision was not to hard being that my jeweler back pedaled a bit with the trade in value he was offering me for the YM.

I'm glad it panned out that way as you guys reminded me why I purchased this model to begin with. It's my first rolex and has been my favorite model always. I guess I got caught up with the hype addiction.

I have definately decided to keep it and save my money until I can afford my grail. Again, thanks

Can't go wrong with either tt bluesy or DJ. Leave steel behind and step up to gold.

YM is your dive watch equivalent my friend.

Add the DJ as your dressy casual piece and YM as your casual dressy piece
