Icon10 SURPRISE - Hamilton 992 Canadian dial pocket watch

My brother in Denmark has really embraced vintage pocket watches and has generously passed some great ones on to me.
Yesterday I received a surprise package in the mail containing this Hamilton 992 Canadian dial.

Naturally it needs a cleaning/servicing but otherwise I think it's outstanding.

All in all my favorite kind of surprise.

Wow! That is absolutely stunning. Hamilton have, and still do, make some wonderful watches. This one is no exception, and a great slice of history.
Cheers,
Carl

OMG - this is exactly the watch my grandfather - an engineer in British Columbia - used. I’ve always wanted one just like it. If you ever decide to part with it PLEASE let me know. Thank you! Patrick
