Lady's Presidents Model 6917 Service needed

Deal All.
I have an older Lady's Presidents Model 6917.
There is not a local watch shop that wants to service this watch, including the Rolex dealer. They sent it to Dallas service center for me.

The Rolex Dallas center wanted $ 3,200 "for needed repairs" with all new hands, dial, glass, crown, Bezel and so on and suggested an additional $ 8800 for a new bracelet and buckle from the phone call I received from the Rolex dealer. So, no to that.

Main "spring and bar" are bad, gears, seals, bad due to water damage. The watch runs about 25-30 minutes fast every 24 hrs.

All I would like to do is get it running as good as it can as spending while spending as less as possible. The dial needs replaced or refinished (whichever cost less - aftermarket dial in champagne or other finish is fine).

I am not apposed to convert it to an aftermarket quartz movement with a new or refinished dial.
Any help is gratefully appreciated.

Thank you,
Col. Fletcher

Phillip Ridley is a well known CW21 Watchmaker in Arizona who has many years' experience in overhauling vintage Rolex.
He will not attempt to restore your vintage piece to factory new appearance, as Rolex always wants to do with valuable old vintage pieces.
Phillip is highly respected here at TRF.
(He has done work for me, and I highly recommend him.)

Phone him; he will be happy to discuss your needs.

Or you can also try Rolliworks in California:
https://www.rolliworks.com/

They are the bracelet experts - you may or may not want/need to have a full bracelet restoration - if it not "too" badly worn, I would be tempted to leave it as is.
But check with them anyway.

Putting a quartz movement in would be a sacrilege.
Just my opinion

Great word, counselor! My thought about that was an inexpensive solution to allow the watch to serve its function and be enjoyed for a few more years until the grand kids have to deal with it.

I am contacting Mr. Ridley for a proper solution and appreciate all of the help and guidance.
