I understand where you’re coming from.
Had mine for a few weeks and really enjoying it - a truly special watch. I am happy I selected the 16610 and will probably be my only Rolex. Cheers |

No question.......the 16610 is a huge part of Rolex history and horology in general. So.......what of the replacement due Basel 2010? Are people excited?

JJ has it spot on - this is the absolute classic. Nice shots!
Not too keen on the rumoured ceramic bezel replacement of the SS Sub. |

I for one, am very excited. I've debated taking the plunge and picking up a SS GMT IIc, but part of me says hold off and see the updated SS Sub. However, by that time the price will probably be $8000 and they will be impossible to get initially.

JJ - yes the Sub is the Real Rolex. And probably the most recognized Rolex around too.
