FSOT: Omega - Speedmaster Professional - OEM Tin Tin Mod
OMEGA Speedmaster Professional - Moonwatch Ref.#: 311.30.42.30.01.005 OEM "Tin Tin" Dial Mod with Apollo 11 40th Anniversary Red-Tipped Chronograph Hand Asking $8,300, including all fees and overnight shipping with full insurance. INFO: • With this project, I wanted to go top-shelf, from beginning to end. No expense was spared. I very recently purchased one of the very last brand new 005 Speedy Pros, from our friends at Topper Jewelers. As many of you know, the coveted Calibre 1861 Moonwatches from ADs have sold out, entirely, now that its successor has replaced it. I got one of the very last ones Topper would ever have, brand new. • This Speedmaster was purchased specifically for this build project. • I purchased this brand new OEM Omega "Tin Tin" dial from a respected AD in the Netherlands, a few months ago. I haven't seen a single Tin Tin dial come up for sale since. They're hyper-rare now, and only getting rarer. (I’d honestly be surprised if anyone is able to find another brand new dial now.) I paid a small fortune for the dial. • I procured the brand new OEM Omega Apollo 11 40th Anniversary red-tipped chronograph hand from a source in the UK. These are also hyper-rare these days, and I was lucky to get one new. • I also bought a full set of white OEM Speedmaster Professional hands. (The entire original hands set will be included. All hands are reusable, and essentially brand new.) • I asked renowned watch shop LA Watch Works, in California, to do the dial and hands swap. I asked them to be very careful with the chronograph hand alignment, when putting it back together. They are very detail obsessed at LAWW, and they did a great job overall. (I can't stress enough how impressed I was with the whole experience, dealing with LAWW. Give them a try, especially if you need refinishing of special shaped cases. Their work, as seen online, is amazing, and their customer service is top-level. There’s a reason why there is a months-long wait, to get your watch in at LAWW; their excellent work is in high demand.) • The end result is a brand new "Tin Tin+ mod." The "+" signifies the added enhancement of the 40th Anniversary chrono hand. That one special little detail really ties the whole design together. • The watch has been worn, by me, around the house, maybe 3-4 times, total. It's as close to brand new as possible. There may be some minuscule signs of strap changes, on the underside of the lugs, but that would be it. I'm hyper careful with my watches, and the many fellow forum members who have bought watches from me can attest to the fact that I try my best to always "undersell" my watches. • It is the complete kit: It will come with all warranty cards, tags, unused straps, full bracelet, loupe, Big Box, etc., etc. • Also included is the full original OEM hands set. • Brand new original 005 black dial included, of course. • For an extra $300, I can include a brand new OEM 3-Position Adjustable Clasp + the (separately purchased) Clasp Links needed to adapt the clasp to the OEM 005 Speedmaster Bracelet. (About a $500 value.) • The watch will NOT come with the OEM Omega mesh bracelet seen in these photos. (I can add a near-new 20 mm Omega mesh bracelet for an additional $700. Yeah, they cost that much now, new.) PHOTOS: https://m.imgur.com/a/bOBIra3 • More detailed photos of the watch coming. ADDITIONAL INFO: • Price: $8,300, including overnight shipping with full insurance. • Payment via bank transfer preferred. • PayPal ok for members with solid references. • Please PM me here. Please do not write on my forum profile. Thank you. • Open to trades mainly of Grand Seiko (Snowflake or Mt. Iwate, or ??), but open to Rolex, IWC, Omega, JLC, some SLA Seiko models. Let me know what you have. FINAL NOTES: • I stand by all of my deals. I can promise I will stay in contact until you've received the watch, and are happy with every aspect of the deal. I'm not a dealer, but rather just an enthusiast who takes these matters very seriously. It's a privilege to participate in this community. I've worked very hard over many years to make sure anyone I trade with is satisfied with the whole experience, from beginning to end. Please feel confident in dealing with me. • I only ship to verified PayPal addresses. Even if you pay via bank wire, I will ask to verify your address separately. No offense; I was burned recently, and I won't allow that to happen again. • I am choosing to deal only with established and active forum members, either here, or on other enthusiast sites. I only keep a few watches at a time, but over the years, I've tried out many, most of which I've sold on to fellow forum members. From those deals, I have many references, and I hope for the same from the buyer. Feedback and references from other forums welcome. Thanks. • CONUS only. Thanks for your consideration. |
