I love my DJ. It was my first Rolex and I’ll never sell it. It is the classic Rolex that withstands time.

Thanks, all.

Stunning DJ's.

This my friend's watch was pretty cool too.

Over the years I’ve owned many DJ’s. Some TT on Jubilee, also on the USA Jubilee, and now an SS on Oyster.

I like it best - no shade cast on the modern 6-digits version but a 4 or 5 digit is my cup of tea.

Two most iconic ones. Both of these have hundreds of "homages" made by other watch brands.

The TT DJ with gold dial on Jubilee will always be the quintessential Rolex imo. Instantly recognized (even by non-watch people) and had a design like no other watch brand at the time. That model that you posted OP was the one that started it all for me. My friend's Dad had one on his wrist, which I believe now was probably a late 1970's ref. That was the very first time I had ever seen a Rolex in real life! I was about 12. After that, I was smitten with the brand and has led to this current day of full Rolex addiction!

Of all the Rolexes I've owned I regret selling this one the most.

I agree that 36mm DJ (with the champagne dial, two-tone, Jubilee) and the Submariner are the most iconic Rolexes.
