White gold 36mm Day Date vs SS or oystersteel DJ. Thoughts?
Interested what owners of both think about this comparison. The differences are obvious, just wondering how users think about what they like/don't like between the two.

White gold 36mm Day Date vs SS or oystersteel DJ. Thoughts?
The DJ is a terrific watch and on Oyster with flutted bezel would bring a look pretty close to the Daydate 118239 on WG Oyster band (same would apply to the smooth bezel DJ on oyster versus the 118209 on Oyster). There are pretty similar dials on both models so you could actually have a DJ with a close resemblance to a DD
However when the DD is on the president style bracelet they are easier to spot as different from the distance as the is no non PM bracelet equivalent by Rolex. Other than the basic aesthetics of bracelet, bezel and dial complications the milky color of the WG makes it look different than the 904L when looking at them side by side. Lastly you have the weight difference but that you can only feel it !! Many people complaint that the WG piezes are too similar in their look to their SS variants (SkyD WG vs SkyD SS; WG GMT BLRO vs SS GMT BLRO , for example) but only the owner needs to know the difference! I own a 18239 and a Tudor DD which is sizewise very similar to the 5 series DJ and they are similar in a few things but feel different on the wrist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
