I have 114060 and 116610LV.
Between the two and other references, I’d choose the Hulk.
Nothing like it in the history of the Submariner.

the best sub is the best one you can afford.
$5,000 to $500,000

I'd argue the Submariner is more classic, being true to the original 6204 (no date)

Marco

I agree with the classic and purest argument.

But when classic, versatile and useful is the criteria as a group for the ultimate sub… this one scores low in the useful category since it doesn’t have a date.

My favourite Sub, I love the fact it’s white gold, but mount people don’t know. and the blue is so much more wearable than the green.

The ultimate Sub is the one you have on your wrist. If you have one, you’re winning

5517 milsub or 5514 Comex for me. Great combination of design and history. The men who wore those must have seen some things.

What is the ultimate Submariner?!

Recently bought over, at market price, from my father his sub 116610LN, which he was planning to cash-in in this current market.

Let’s see how it will go; if the market rise and I will get some profit or if it fall, it will be something priceless for my kids.

Personal favourite is the 116600.
