Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.

I am pleased to finally join the Rolex owners' club after what has been a long wait! I almost gave up a few times and just about resisted the temptation to buy from a more available brand...

My first piece to start my collection is a 36mm datejust, black dial, domed bezel, oyster bracelet. Slightly different to what I originally wanted, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the configuration, and it has been on my wrist since!

A great feeling to finally get the call, and from my personal experience, I found being patient and flexible definitely helped.

Cheers!

Great watch! That is my preferred configuration. I've had both jubilee and fluted bezel version and have come around to this being the best for durability and wear.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and kind words!

Agree with all your comments regarding the watch - it's a versatile piece, and I have found it works just as well with a suit as it does with a t-shirt and jeans.

The addiction has definitely begun...

Congratulations, such a nice watch. As someone said previously, a DateJust is an essential piece, the essential piece, in any watch collection. Hope you enjoy it.
