Managed to re-acquire the one I should never have let go today.
An M serial 16600 Sea Dweller with a card dated 2010. Was fortunate to find an unworn, fully stickered example for not stupid money and from a seller I trust implicitly and from whom I’ve bought watches before. As you would expect, it’s in perfect, 100% original condition. Zero doubt about having been refinished. The dilemma of course is to keep it stickered and pristine, or to rip them off, get is sized and wear it as intended. Well not quite. I’m no saturation diver! Whilst I’m a huge fan of the SD43, this one is, for me, as good as it gets. Finding a NOS example was the icing on that cake. I could have saved some £££ buying a pre worn one but I wanted to properly make good my earlier mistake. So for anyone wondering, no, I didn’t buy it to be a safe queen. An appreciating asset. I bought it because I should never have let my old one go. I appreciate some of you reading may think I’m mad to rip those stickers off but I don’t care if It’s worth less as a result. I didn’t buy it as an investment. It’s getting worn. 100%. Wrist pics to follow once it’s sized and those stickers are in the bin! Cheers and have a great weekend everyone Ps. I was so tempted to ask “has this been polished” just to see how many said yes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
