It just goes to show how wasteful most of the grey market is. Most dealers add no value and are just friction in the market. It literally takes a minute to just wash the watch and hit it with a toothbrush. If a dealer can't spend a minute on that I imagine they aren't doing anything else either, no value add to check the mvmt or make sure it's not stolen, they are just moving product in and out as fast as possible and taxing it along the way.

Wow! Yuck! Yes, 100% agree that any dealer should fully clean their watches. If I went into a grey's showroom and I was about to try on a watch, that would definitely turn me off right there! Kinda like if you were to check out a used car at a dealer, open the door to test drive and there's a big stain on the driver's seat bottom.
