Up for grabs is an absolutely stelllar example of a RARE Omega Speedmaster “TinTin”. Watch comes complete with boxes, both cards, serialized hang tag and the still unworn and fully stickered bracelet. Watch head has been on a nato it’s whole life since new (I bought it in NIB condition). Still has case back sticker as well. This is one of the best investment pieces at its current price point in the entire Omega line IMO.

Omega had already hand painted the red and white check dials which were to include a red rocket at the 11hr marker. Just before the the pieces were finalized the deal with the cartoonist’s estate fell apart and Omega wasn’t allowed to use the likeness of Herge’s “TinTin” comic. The watches were released in limited numbers with what was already completed on the dial but omitted the rocket making these an "error" watch entirely.
