Cartier London Watch
So after languishing in a safe unworn for years, this lovely watch surfaced when my parents needed to update their insurance.
Bought years ago second hand and rarely worn since, it was a bit of a mystery. Initially called out as a franken by internet ‘experts’, it would now appear to be a rather rare London Collection piece from the 1960s, after I was contacted by a real expert! It’s being taken to a specialist next week to be inspected.

As an update, it’s been confirmed that as expected it has a JLC movement and correct hallmarks for a London creation. There’s not much info online, but these were pieces designed & created in small numbers in the 60s & 70s in the London boutique. This one’s case is particularly rare. More info as I get it.

Thank you. Not much info out there, but what is, is quite interesting
