Hodinkee "Reference Points" - Rolex Explorer
Hodinkee released a new episode of their "Reference Points" series yesterday where they extensively cover the Explorer I reference history all the way from the 6610 through 124273. Interesting to see it all together.

I find their Reference Points series to be their best content and this one was very informative like the others.

Their content lost my interest for the most part, but this was a good one.

Eric Wind is a master of knowledge for all vintage pieces. The whole series is alive because of his expertise. So clear and articulate. Loved it

Rolex sometimes calls it the Explorer I (roman numeral) in old booklets, etc.
