Will Rolex use Tudor’s Silver Alloy
Do you think the alloy that Tudor is using was made in Rolexes foundry and will they use it on Rolex models?
I’m wondering if they might make some interesting things with it. Perhaps silver bezels instead of platinum. Or use it for dials. Seems like a lot of trouble to make a new silver alloy for 1 watch. Perhaps a more drastic move of shifting the classic lineup away from steel and make them all silver if the alloy holds up over time as claimed. I could see this being a selling point for Rolex that their entire classic range is made of solid precious metal pieces. With their professional range being steel.

Can't rule it out, but Titanium YM has already been spotted in the wild, so I’d say it’s more likely first. https://www.gearpatrol.com/watches/a...ster-titanium/
