People can’t leave bad reviews evertirme they don’t get what they want.

Strange and rude behavior. The 3 local AD's around me that have display models were more than happy to bring any and all of them out to try them on. One AD that I am trying to get a watch from had me try on all of their display models so I could see how they all compare in regards to size/thickness.

Exhibition models. Is this a new low?

I have been to 7 ADs in 6 cities over the past 4 months (including one in Chicago) as I travel a lot for work. They have all let me handle and try on any and all models. Every dealer has been very nice and very accommodating. Which I think is good since they know it’s very unlikely they will sell me a watch.
It’s been very useful to me since each AD has different references. So I’ve been able to see a bunch on my arm, which is helpful to know what to focus on, even if I eventually go gray or not get a Rolex at all.

So my experience has been different that others here.

If they want people to at least have some experience with the brand, why would they sell the exhibition model? They don’t need the money. Maybe one guy who tries on the watch will decide to go on the Rolex “journey” and spend a bunch on jewelry.

There’s value to being able to interact with the models.
