6239 needs service-PLEASE HELP
Good evening.
I have a 1967 6239 that is running slow and the chrono function is not properly working. Can anyone recommend someone/shop that can work on these watches. Thank you SB |

Phillip Ridley of Mesa, Arizona.
He can overhaul your watch and NOT replace ALL the parts, polish it, replace dial and hands, etc., to make it as factory new (ruining its "wearing history"), as a Rolex Service Center would press for you to do. He will overhaul it and otherwise leave it as is. Maybe a new crystal, though, if needed. Unless you want an "all-new factory job." that is. Most people prefer to leave the case and bracelet wear and tear on their old vintage pieces, but that is up to you. He can make your watch run as new without a 'full cosmetic restoration.' Phillip is a well known CW21 Vintage Rolex expert here at TRF and elsewhere. He is very highly regarded. (Yes he has done work on old Rolex for me.) Call him and speak with him about your needs.
