Thinking of going grey - 1st gold AP

Hi guys, just saw this interesting piece today for a PM RO dual time which has always been on my radar but mainly the steel version even 4-5 years ago before I got my 1st RO (time only). It would also be my 1st PM & also I haven't got any white dials in my collection

No box or papers & from memory US$47k they mentioned (conv from HK$ as I guess this is easier for you guys to compare) & they est year as 2000-2005. Is this a fair price for this watch? I assume after neg can get the price down

You can do better and with box and papers. Do yourself a favor and pass.

That's a lot of money for a 20 year old watch with no papers or service history, which you have to consider the cost for if it hasn't been serviced recently.

Box and papers don't matter very much for a modern Rolex if you get 1k off. But for an old AP at that price, B&P are worth quite a bit and you don't know if its been serviced. That could cost you another $2500
