H. Moser Streamliner Flyback Chronograph - Feedback/Opinions?

And, I was wondering if any owners out there can share opinions/thoughts after owning and using one for a bit?

Beautiful watch, beautiful movement. Nearly purchased one but liked the smaller / thinner case of the streamliner center seconds and went with that.

Thanks! I actually tried both on today. Stunning pieces. I'm leaning towards chrono. I thought I wouldn't like the chrono dial, but I loved it and while a little thicker than the center seconds, I just liked the overall aesthetic.

i ended up selling my streamliner center seconds, i found the butterfly clasp edge to be kind of sharp and uncomfortable on my wrist. The center seconds wore smaller and more elegant in the way the 5711s are, but I think I prefer the chrono for its unique dial display and overall sportiness. The seconds track fits the chrono dial more to me.

Interesting. These are two watches I’d love to see in the flesh, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen with the demand…

Helpful insight. Thanks. I tend to agree re Chrono - the sportiness and dial make it extra special imo.

I have a Moser Chrono streamliner with the "funky" blue dial. Overall quite happy with it. The looks is certainly an acquired taste though.

Looks an interesting piece, I'd only say that at this price point and similar availability I'd prefer a VC overseas with its versatility. With integrated bracelets unless I'm wrong on this Moser piece you're q limited w/ changing to straps

But why want to change straps on such a comfortable and unique bracelet. It’s part of the appeal and flow. The overseas is categorically different than the layout of this. IMO are two totally different considerations. VC is more typical approach.

I agree with above poster " can't go wrong with either one"....myself I find the chrono a bit more appealing and the thickness is a non issue. Good luck with your decision OP.

I got to try a friends on recently and I don’t think you can go wrong either way. The bracelet is much thinner near the case and the lack of large lugs makes the watch look much smaller on the wrist. I though it wore great

How big is your wrist? The watch looks like a 35mm watch on you.

I have a 7.5 inch wrist but its super flat which helps. That said I still think pieces like the AP offshore chrono and the sea dweller are to large for my wrist

Here’s a 37mm GS for comparison. I think you could wear the the center second down to like a 6-6.25 easily with the connection from the case to bracelet being so seamless

I tend to agree! The more I look at and my pics love the sportiness of the chrono. And, without lugs it feels more like a 39mm! It's crazy comfortable.

Comparing this Moser chrono to a VC is off. This Moser has a very unique way of using the centered hands to perform the chronograph task, as well as hiding the winding rotors under the dial, are 2 of the most innovative ideas in watch making in a while.
