Doesn’t suit me, unfortunately. I think the CHNR is an entirely different animal.
However, it seems to more closely resemble the vintage Rolex rootbeer in terms of color.

Keep in mind it helps to keep the cost down. This is a TT piece for $5,500. Not everyone can afford 15 grand for a TT watch

How do you know what kind of gold this is. Plated, solid, spray paint?

I like the idea of it, but the coloring just feels off to me for some reason.

I am a huge Tudor fan but do not like this reference. If I wanted a Root Beer I would buy the Rolex. The Tudor GMT works for me for some reason but the TT does not.

I like it but I know most seem to hate it. I guess a little too much of a CHNR homage for people's liking. I do think it may have worked better without the brown on the bezel.

I like the aesthetic a lot, but for me not enough to purchase. Then again, maybe on strap.

Just cannot stand the rivets on ANY watch. Makes me think of the 70’s “man” with his shirt unbuttoned halfway down from the collar with gold chains imbedded in his chest hair.
Now, if it were truly a vintage watch that originally had a rivet bracelet, I CAN appreciate it, but still think it’s useless and ugly.

Looks very retro and I hate cyclops anyway.
And not a fan of the rivets mine doesn't have them.
The way Rolex are just becoming investment items I think Tudor is well on the up.

To post about the actual topic, this piece is just okay to me. I certainly understand why they went this direction. I think it’s natural to add a root beer variant. Like most watches, it boils down to subjective taste and for my money I’d go with something else in the Tudor lineup. I am looking forward to seeing one in the metal though.

Solid gold bezel, solid gold crown, first 2 links of bracelet are solid gold, remainder of links gold capped (not plated).

Tudor needs to put a magnifier over the date window.

Nope. Was hoping to as I’ve been waiting on a CHNR. But, sadly, no.

Massive fan of the colours but I just can't get past the thick, diamond shaped hands and bracelet just looks a bit unrefined to me. Other than that, its a great watch!

I like it on the leather strap. Now, seeing as I have the BBGMT, I don't know if one will ever end up in the collection.

But, you never know...
