VTNR already on Ebay

I was perusing Ebay today and found that there is already a 126720VTNR listed for sale. It never ceases to amaze me how fast some people get these watches.

They clearly don’t have the watch in hand as the listing picture looks like it’s from watches and wonders.

Wouldnt be surprised to find out that Rolex corporate buys it just to figure out which AD flipped it.

Yeah they should do that with all hype pieces like Meteorite Daytonas or JM’s. Would be so easy but Rolex isn’t interested clearly. Patek did that with a 5711 and then banned the guy for life.

Story goes the guy got his 5711 and flipped it - but Patek got hold of it. The guy asked for another watch and Patek invited him to pick it up personally with hotel stay, the works. When he went to pick it up and opened the box it was the 5711 he flipped. Must have been quite the scene :)

See this is why I have trust issues with Rolex ADs .
"We have supply shortage"
"Unfortunately that piece has got a long waitinglist"
So on and so forth...and somehow the watch which is not officially for sale yet, ends up on ebay for 3-4x its msrp.
At least be honest & admit you guys are channeling it thru the backdoor as long as market price is above retail.

My dealer in Asia told me it's coming!

I can't believe it has 59 bids at this time.
