Great photo!

Had a compliment on mine at work today. Nice when someone spots it and knows what it is, shared interests etc.

Looks great much prefer 36 , owned 39 but always thought too much dial for a time only watch , however I can understand how 39 looks so much better on a bigger wrist

Congratulations. I’m jealous and that watch is on my list of future purchases. It’s the only Rolex in the current lineup where the proportions are right still and the modern features (clasp, blue lume) fit in well.

I have more than would be enough to satisfy many and certainly more than I need, but this one….it’s still one I deeply desire. 36 is so classic and you just can’t beat this for a do anything watch for any attire. Black tie affairs, or weekends to the beach. Love it, and major congrats.

Well said Peter. The tide took 10 years to come in 2019... and is now going out. They'll be a lot of slightly embarrassed types in a few years from now with no swimming costume on ! Or in this context nursing an unloved and unfashionable YM2, Hublot, Ap offshore, Franck Muller, etc etc )

I spent ages trying to decide between 36 v 41mm and took a gamble on 36 as i couldn’t try beforehand and it is the perfect size!

Great watch with perfect proportions.

Sadly got this one back from my father today. I had given it to him some years ago. RIP.

You have a meaty wrist. Honestly I think the 39 would have worked a little better for you but size is very subjective and all that matters is that you are happy with it.

Congrats on the Explorer

I was thinking the same thing. Don't get me wrong, it looks great but you could easily wear the 39mm with your wrist size. But any Explorer is fantastic so a big congrats!

I agree with some others that the 39mm would fit better..It's all subjective of course but as much as I try to go with 36mm it just feels and looks small to me.

My wrist is 6.75".

There's no right answer of course and as long as you are happy!
