Keep in mind that the smaller cities (Naples, etc) will only sell to locals given they don’t have enough allocation to serve tourists.

Your best bet is to visit Rome and check out the official boutique off Via Condotti as they get the most allocation and will happily sell to tourists. Bought my dad a watch there last summer when I was visiting.
I believe Naples metro is the LARGEST in the country!

Actually the larger dealers are located within Rome and Milan. I verified during my visit in Sept.

Naples was quite small in terms of luxury good purchases.

It's the same situation everywhere in the world the grey market is a global market.

Someone mentioned not selling to tourists, this is however true to some degree, I know quite a few shops in Italy who have different stocks for Italian and non Italien speaking customers.

Thanks everyone for the input. Guess I won't hold out too much hope.

Might try emailing some of the ADs before going but that will probably be as effective as doing the same in the USA

I think Naples is the third largest city in Italy; maybe the official Metro area makes it the largest somehow. Definitely not 'small' anyway, but only two Rolex ADs that I know of.
