Great pictures! How's your returned SD43 treating your wrist, Bryan? Have you found a more comfortable fit?

So far it's not been too bad. I have to say, I'm wearing it a bit looser now than before and that does seem to help.

It'll never be a daily, but man I sure missed this beauty

Bought mine in 2019, its heavily in the rotation and always being worn, no issues.

I’m not usually one to believe things without critically thinking for myself. And I have no doubt there’s an issue with the 32xx movements. Do they all suffer the same fate? I don’t know. But enough do, and exactly the same way to know something isn’t right.

The fact that people are sending them in a second or even 3rd time is disturbing. How could Rolex not know by now how to fix this?

I can only hope my DD40 stays accurate. So far so good. But I’m not convinced it’ll escape this issue. Time, will tell.

I have had a 50% hit rate with the issue.

I must say it does provide me a level of anxiety with my new dd40 which started off it’s life at -2 per day to begin with. Massive shame.

I’m okay with a failed beater dj going in and out of rsc but not a plat dd.

I know the latter option wouldn't make sense as these watches sell for above rrp but just curious
Rolex will fix it unless Rolex says otherwise. Anything else would be up to the AD you bought from. In the "old days" when there were plenty of watches in the case, perhaps an AD would replace (if it failed very soon after purchase) for the sake of goodwill and the relationship. Not today. On the other hand, I'm sure many would offer a refund, as they could have it repaired and sell pre-owned for a lot more than you paid in most cases.

Also wondering how an insurance company would approach this if a watch is covered. After a certain number of instances, would it replace? I tend to doubt that, because it's not meant as a warranty substitute, but it is the other option to consider.

Hi All,

I just stumbled on this thread and becoming aware of this issue and it’s got me thinking about my SD43 which I got mid 2021. I have been feeling like mine has been consistently running slow and I wear it almost daily. I just set is yesterday and noticing it is running 3-4 seconds behind on the second day. Is this something I should also be concerned about? Any insight into this from any of very knowledgeable folks on here would be appreciated.

I have a MK I, purchased new in late 2018. Has run between minus 2.5 and 4 seconds per day since I got it back then. Even though it’s outside of Rolex’s +2/-2 range, it’s consistent generally, so I’ll leave it be.

If and when the issue hits it's a super steep decline in timing. If yours is consistent dont' worry about it.

The balance spring was not in the proper location which caused everything to slow down.

Not a watchsmith, but what I was told.

Should have it back tomorrow.
