No, in fact after a year of them telling me every time I went in that it wouldn't be a problem to get a sub for my 50th next week, plus my SA telling me very seriously one year ago (while we purchased my wife's new Rolex) that he would get me the sub, there has been nothing. My wife stopped in yesterday to see if she might be able to get some insights but my SA was already gone and doesn't work today.

The guy who talked to her was weird with her as soon as she mentioned the word Rolex and he literally made a point to get her to show him her watch, almost to prove that she was legit and not a Lookie Lou. He backed off the suspicious train once she said who we had been working with over the last year and he took down all of her information and the reason for the visit to give to our SA tomorrow so he could call her. It just goes to show you that they are indeed very suspicious of people coming in off the street asking about Rolex.

It just feels so gross. Other non-Rolex ADs are so welcoming and happy to speak with you.

The 50th anniversary Explorer II would be a great gift for a 50th birthday.
