Yacht-master 42

The new YACHT-MASTER 42 on Oysterflex has grown on me. I love how sporty it is. I was browsing online and it seem to be the only gold watch on Oysterflex what doesn’t have an insane markup. Why is this as I think it’s so cool! Is this a watch I can possibly get without waiting 100 years. I like the yellow gold new one best

Thanks

I agree! The white gold is awesome too. I really like how it is very low key in a sense.

The WG looks nice, but still cannot get over the fact it has a rubber rather than a WG bracelet

This!!!! How can rubber cost that much? If it were to have a bracelet instead of rubber, I’m curious.. would the price of the watch go up?

All these YM posts today it felt like time, see my new thread. Guys look past the rubber because it has a titanium core that can’t rip or tear. The whole point of this watch is the paradox of such a casual looking package with the pm prestige; not for the faint of heart. Talk to guys with Aquanauts ‘on rubber’ trading well above 100k.

Depends on your definition of 'insane,' lol.

In all seriousness, I had been looking at this exact model and was seriously considering pulling the trigger when the new YG model premiered. I've since taken a step back to consider things. But yeah, great watch.
