OP, why don't you try the two Rolex stores on Kolokotroni and Valaoritou Str.? Especially the latter. Give them a call and arrange a visit in person, you might have a better chance with them. Besides, they are the ones to supply said AD and indeed any and all ADs in Greece.

Good luck

If I'm not mistaken a TT Daytona can be delivered within 6 months, it is usually the easiest one to get among all other Daytona configurations

that 15 year list is them politely telling you it's not going to happen.

My wait was 3 weeks after purchasing a Plat DD40 for an SS Daytona and then approx 1 month waiting for a RG Daytona from expressing interest...

You need to have other spend.

When was this? I bought a platinum DD40 last year and was basically told that would fulfill their allocation to me for awhile.

2021, I guess every AD's different. Maybe it isn't as easy to move a Plat DD in Aus vs where you are.

My local AD told me that the waiting list for a BLRO was 200 years and then asked me if I'd like to fill out the form to be put on the list.

That's absolutely crazy, having to wait 15 yrs for a TT Daytona? My local AD had it in the display window for walk-in sale from time to time.

When you get a quote from a contractor to do some wok on your house and it comes in at double or triple the normal rate.........thats the 'I dont wanna do it' quote. 15 years wait time from an AD.......you just got your FU quote.

Just go to the other thread about prices dropping. Don’t worry they are dropping so fast people are giving away Daytonas. Your AD will call you by next week. Just go ask the geniuses in the other thread. They have all kinds of connections and examples. They will get you one.

They didn’t actually mean 15 years. What they meant was, “we are never going to sell you that watch”.

Try somewhere else, your chances would still be slim unfortunately. Or just go grey and start enjoying ownership right away. Prices seem to be sliding so you’re in a better position today than a few months ago.

People should realise that ADs do want to sell you that watch. But they will get so few that they would be more inclined to support their big spending loyal clients. And even amongst that group, there will be ones that miss out. So you would not rank anywhere on the priority list. It’s crap, but it’s how it is. I have bought a dozen Rolexes and spent plenty with my AD, but I still don’t get what I ask for.

I do feel that the tide will turn my way soon, so maybe OP you should try more ADs, Athens has plenty, or drive to Nafplio. You never know your luck. I hope you get what you want

Have you been treated like this in a Rolex AD before?

My guess is it’s the fact you’re in a popular summer vacation spot.

May be your SA thought that you were asking for SS Daytona.

TT Daytona should be able to get within 1-2 years.

Get on the list. Get married. Have a child.
And then when your day finally comes, gift the Daytona to your child as a graduation present.

Should have come right back with that they likely won’t be an AD in 15 years given AD turnover.

yeppp, it's brutal. I just passed through Montego Bay airport Rolex AD. The SA said he'd likely be closing within the year. He was only receiving 3-4 watches a month.

kessaris Knows the market well…and use the knowledge..

But “Best” practice goes to the official dealer in Cyprus. They sells at the highest grey prices…

My AD mentioned 6 months for a TT earlier this year, and that was right after I purchased a Sub. When I asked about the Panda he just laughed.
