FS: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 1807 Buckley dial

Offering for sale this exquisite Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date. Model reference 1807, circa 1970 production with serial number 2,318,xxx. This specimen is has a champagne colored dial, with Roman numeral. It is known as the "Buckley" dial, named after an outspoken Rolex authority who was obsessed with models that featured painted Roman numerals.
Recently overhauled, and watch is running well and pristine. Offering the "head only", though calf strap in photos can be included.
*Please note that in some point of its 50+ year life, the serial number was polished off, though effort was made to scratch correct serial back in place.
Additionally, the 1807 model was to have had a "Bark" bezel. This was converted to a fluted bezel.
