Wedding ring question

Just a seemingly silly question: are you able to remove your wedding ring? I tried to remove mine after 22 years to polish it but it won't come off anymore No matter what I try, soap, petroleum jelly, washing-up liquid, nothing helps! I can't get it over the first knuckle

After 17 years, mine fits just the same as when I got married. It's probably a little more loose, in fact.

That will be no problems if you had it on your finger in for 22 years you should lose your finger fairly quickly.

Mine's always been loose. We got it a hair large so it would go on easily during the wedding, and I've just never had it sized.

We actually replaced ours 10 years ago, but they were the same size & mine slips off quite easily.
I don't like tan lines, so I might accidentally slide it off, so as to not get that tell tale white ring around my ring finger.
OOps , was that my outside voice I just used.

Last year I had to have mine cut at a jewelers, it shrunk over the years. They re sized it for me on the spot.

I wear my fathers on my right hand and it is tight (it's been there for ten years).

I've only had my wedding ring for 9 months and it is looser. I wanted a titanium wedding ring but as you cannot resize titanium I went for platinum and it is like a car bolt.
I sometimes take my wedding ring off just to fiddle with it without thinking. I should probably stop doing that as I might drop it down a drain (which my best man nearly did on the wedding day). The best man and I forgot the rings to start with on the day and only remembered them as we were heading back to my house as I'd also forgotten my speech.

You're dealing with someone who took her ring off to clean and lost it - talk about fortuitous events! Why not try baby oil? The consistency is so slippery that everything slides that touches it. (Before applying oil, I would ice the finger to cause the skin to contract.)

Yes, I take it off when I shower and sleep. I really hate rings and would be unhappy if I could not remove it.

Try that super duper teflon like cooking spray.

I've been married 3 years and I can hardly get my "wedding band" off...see what I did there...I made it Bubba proof!
