Our Take
The Oysterdate Ref. 6694 provides an enthusiast or collector a great opportunity to dip into Rolex for less than $3k. The 6694 features a 34.5m stainless steel case with a manual wind movement (something of which is rare for Rolex). This example, although made in 1974, is in good pre-owned condition throughout with light signs of wear. The crystal is mint, something of which is not common with acrylic crystals. The watch is keeping great time and winding well. The bracelet has moderate stretch with age but nothing unreasonable.
