I know a guy that has the IWC in your wrist shot. I can't remember if his has a date feature or not. It's a beautiful watch

The one in the wrist shot is the ~43mm Portuguese 5001 in white gold. If your friend's does not have the date, could he possibly have the ~41mm 3714in white gold? I tried it on as well, and it's stunning. Unfortunately, I don't have a wrist shot. While the movement in the 5001 is legendary, I actually preferred the 3714 on my wrist.:
