Interesting. The GMT is the most popular watch by far and with many more votes than a Daytona.

It'd be interesting to see how many people own the 116500 and are ranking it #1 vs collectors that want it from online pics. What's the percentage chance of actually acquiring a 116500 from an AD? 10%?

Ladies and gentleman, the Pepsi has overtaken the white Daytona. Wow.

For decades Subs always outsold GMTs at ADs.
As someone posted earlier, Covid might have increased the GMT current popularity.

Also, this poll is from watch enthusiasts. If 25 random people were to vote, the results would significantly different. A WIS understands and appreciates the history of a BLRO.

How much do the poll results reflect knowledge of the secondary market prices?

BLNR for sure. Just to make this clear, it was a tough decision.

5 more days until the poll closes! Pepsi still in the lead. The poll question, if only one of these popular SS sports watches to own and wear.

Can we please do another poll once this one ends with the Top 3 Choices?

Thanks

No resale allowed in the OPs scenario so it makes sense.

Although I like the look of the BLRO, I voted for the Daytona because it feels so comfortable on the wrist. It could be my one and only watch. I used to think the GMT was my favorite watch, but since I’ve worn the Daytona this past year the 116500 feels the best on my wrist. Comfort is my main criteria for daily wear.

Congrats to the BLRO! After a month of a very competitive poll, the BLRO beats who I would have thought won, the white daytona, following buy by the BLNR. Also the GMTs received more votes than the Daytonas, followed by the Subs.

GMT Pepsi, the king of the most popular Rolex sports model watches. All hail the king!

Thanks all for your responses. Part of me did this poll because I felt the BLNR was the only one watch I need. I see many of you agreed. Today I sold my 124060 back to my AD as it is collecting dust on much shelf. Not that I don’t love it, but there is no occasion I found I want to wear it over the BLNR on jubilee. It was a collection ender for me. Maybe not forever, but will take a nice break from the forum as well. All the best to everyone, will check in from time to time!

SS Poll - GMT, Sub, Daytona

I missed the poll, but would have voted Daytona black dial. It is my daily, and has served me well for over 2 years.

See, you and I agree on something. I really like the Hulk!!
