White face SD
How difficult or should I say is it drastically more difficult to get hold of than say a GMT supposing there was a purchase history and an AD relationship.
I see a lot about the blue dial but not so much about the white. |

I think sky-dwellers are not in a huge demand as other watches in general - but the AD’s receive less due to a complicated movement.
Like any other Rolex, still close to impossible. |

I’ve seen the blue and the black in person at my AD, but never the white

My AD provided me with ranges anywhere in the 50-100 years.

This.
When I last spoke to my AD about quantities, they told me that on average they get 2 SS blue a year, 1 SS white a year and 1 SS black a year. If this is applicable and scalable (the operative word being if), white dial SS Sky Dwellers are half as common as blue and as common as black. It gets skewed when you factor in demand, which is much higher for the blue dial, giving an appearance of relative scarcity which is misleading although Sky Dwellers are comparatively scarce in general. Having just got a SS Sky Dweller on Jubilee I can attest to how comfortable it is to wear 24/7. And it looks fantastic with the fluted bezel. I have the white dial in TT, which I think works better than white gold hands against a white dial. To my eyes (although maybe not to yours) the TT Sky Dweller looks awesome on Jubilee. |

The only Sky's I've ever seen at my AD in the last 3 years were a TT white and a steel black. (The black was exhibition only)
But then again, the only GMT I've ever seen there is a BLNR, again an exhibition only. So, I'm guessing any color dial in steel is going to be a catch. |

White dial Sea Dweller? That's definitely a unique one. I don't think I've really seen one either.
A picture of any owned white dial will be appreciated. |

Blue Sky D on Jubilee seen 10 days ago at Bucherer Paris. Very shiny ;)
As for initial question, I have been offered a white dial version after roughly a year of being on waitlist (no purchase history), declined and got a blue dial 6 months later. But as for all those questions, answers depends on many many factors. |

Another one of those threads in which absolutely no one can offer anything definitive, or any more than the OP can conjure up on his own.

I would think the white SkyD is still not easy to get even in current market conditions.

I think Stainless versions, regardless of dial color, are still tough to get. I think two tone and full gold ones might be a little easier.
