You should ask the AD to switch the hands of the watch lol

But this might mean that between different sets of hands, no two sets might be exactly alike, thus the difference when you got your watch back. Perhaps they swapped out the hands for one reason or another.

I know Rolex will do that with your Rolex at a RSC when they service a watch, unless you specifically tell them not to. They did that with my Day Date, hands and crown. Was pissed, but nothing I can do now.
That spec, that originally sent the watch back, is almost certainly a small lume chip or flake. If it came from one of the hands, then they were probably replaced.

Not a good situation and very disappointed in your AD. They should take the watch back and either give you a refund or the other watch in the case if that is what you want. I do not know how you paid for the watch but if by CC you do have some recourse. I would go back into the AD with the watch and all of the accessories and speck directly with the manager and firmly but respectfully ask them to replace it or refund it. No threatening or anything else just ask them to make it right and don't take no for an answer. Prior to arrival check with your CC company and see what your recourse is if you paid by CC. I would also remind them that you will be more than willing to write a review on the various social media platforms on how well or poorly they handle this situation. See what they will do. Good luck and keep us posted.

Wondering if they put more lume on the hands purposely. Here is a picture although hard to say in Jewelry store lighting. I will say in person the new one was better but still didn’t match directly the markers.

Pretty bad shots as one is under shade and other isn't.
Either way, the whole experience sucks.

I would say a warmer look vs. the BBpro it is next to.

I don’t see the spec to which you are referring.

Here is the spec photo, which then it went to service and they confirmed they removed crystal and removed it.

Tudor 925 second defect in a row?

Update from AD

Tudor rep saw the pictures and is stating the watch must be sent back and the hands replaced… so will have this watch serviced 2 times after having it for 1 day. 1 day of ownership before 8 weeks to service and now a few more days then another 8 weeks…

At least I know I am not crazy!

I don't understand why the hands were changed to remove a speck from under the crystal.

Looking back at the originals I think the hands were always a problem but since I saw the speck right away I didn’t see the hands issue as it went right back in the box and returned to Tudor.

While immensely frustrating and not excusable especially for a luxury brand stablemate of Rolex there are worse things than having a product receive extra attention under warranty. Although admittedly it does sour the new watch experience.

If that spec was a flake of lume, it came from somewhere. Perhaps a hand or hour marker (meaning something was changed).
