GMT Master II BLNR on strap?
Hi all,
I've seen a few GMT's, primarily 1675's, on straps over the years and am wondering if anyone has swapped the bracelet to a leather strap on the current model GMT Master II? I read somewhere (though I can't recall the source) that curved straps are recommended compared to a straight version. I'm thinking of purchasing a strap from delugs. And, in all my research, I've only seen rubber b version straps; rarely leather. Would appreciate any advice! |

It can be done but, IMO, doesn't look as good as the articulated-fit rubber strap options. Give it a go and see if you're satisfied - its a personal thing.

Check out Aaron Bespoke (Combat Straps) on IG. He's done a ton of straps for GMTIIs. I'm not a huge fan myself, but his work is second to none.

These modern references and their wider lugs do not have that level of versatility im afraid. It can be done, but the look no where in the same league as the older versions.
