custom dials

hello everyone , what are these custom dials that are sometimes advertised on sites , i was looking at a lovely datejust 41 with custom olive dial , are these dials original rolex dials , and if not will it de value the watch , cheers Ronnie

Custom can be anything. From fake to aftermarket.

Stay away from it.

Unfortunately custom watch dials/parts do not translate to increased desirability and value like restomod cars do.

If you sent it to RSC, they’d remove the aftermarket part and replace it with an original. They’d also keep the aftermarket part and “file it away”
