124060 & 124270
Folks,
I have been advised that I am next in line to get the 124060. I purchased a 124270 a year ago and love it. It replaced my 114270 that I used to wear before the new explorer for 4 years. I had a 16610 for a while that I didn't like and have had a 16660 for about 2 years now. I am going to purchase the no date for sure, I like how clean it looks. I got to wear the older 114060 & 116610 and they were too chunky for my liking. Is there anyone that wears the 124060 along side 124270? How is the combo? Is there anyone who changed from the older 114060 to a 124060 and found it much nicer? Thanks |

I own both the 114060 and 124060 references.
I prefer the aesthetics of the newer Sub, but find that size wise, they wear about the same. The newer Sub has always felt slimmer or lower on the wrist to me YMMV. I think they did a beautiful job of it. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

I don't find there to be much of a difference between the two, and consider the 12 to be a minor evolution from the 11. I feel both are very well-designed and quite comfortable, with the 12 making very minor proportion adjustments. IMHO, if you like one, I think you will like the other.

I had 114060 and it was a disaster with those lugs. 124060 is MUCH better balanced!

Funny to see the last two posts having completely opposite opinions…

The new Sub's design is perfect in my opinion.
Would be a great compliment to your iconic Exp. |

I went from 116610 to 126610 (in this case the presence of the date does not count) and now I am much better than before.

So you’re next up for a watch that you are “for sure” going to purchase, but you are not sure enough about it that you’re asking these questions. This is why we are still not close to price normalcy and someone who wants the watch can’t get one.
The new subs are great, enjoy it. |

I asked if it goes along nicely with the 124270 in terms of sizing and versatility which seem perfectly normal to me… Thank you |
