Btw, my wife is the same way about things. While some women are having their nails done or at a hair salon, my wife will roll her little convertible out of the garage and completely wash and wax it. Her car is 8 years old and showroom fresh!

That would bother me but it's easily fixed. Thanks for sharing, OP , although I never walk with my hands I pocket.

How many times do people have to be told, a Rolex shouldn't be worn.
It stays in the box, it goes in the safe and it doesn't come out until its 25 years of age and considered vintage. Where on earth do people get the idea that these Rolex watch things can be worn, after all they are so fragile. Wearing a watch what ever next, I suppose someone will tell me that we can fly to the moon?

Dont worry about it at all OP!
Just take joy in knowing that its such an easy fix, it doesn't take away anything from the watch, and the watch will pick on more scratches as it should!! I understand we're all different, and while I could care less if my watch is scuffed up in every corner it still wouldn't bug me, some folks are different. I have an old man that would polish off the tiniest spot in his car, re pain the tiniest spot at home, etc. And so I understand that some folks are more bothered by these scuffs than others, but I really encourage to just try and live with them, because mistakes will happen, and there will be more scuffs, and life is too short to dwell over these things. |

You are correct! He's an awesome dude and should inspire all of us to drive our cars and wear our watches as much as possible while we are on this planet!! I met him a few years ago and my hair suddenly started getting longer lol

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with keeping things in good shape. My hangup is when the desire to keep something so clean impedes the full use of the thing. I rarely take off my watch, unless maybe I’m doing something like snow angels on concrete…which is never.

Haha! Those snow angels would be very distressing. I am diametrically opposed to safe and garage queens and over time, of course nothing stays perfect!
