I wear mine almost daily. Holds up great and it’s just a watch.

I wear all my watches... I rotate often so no "daily" piece per se, but I wear them all. The only ones that I wear less often are my 50M WR watches which are more "dressy".

So humble of you. ‘White metal’. Lol .

OP, I daily a Daytona too. Glad to hear you are enjoying the watch!

I wore a black dial 116520 daily from 2004-2008, it held up to all activities I could dole out. My current 116500 is in regular rotation with my BLRO and OP, not daily but a coup,e times a week at least.

You missed the sarcasm, well intended in a nice way. All Rolex watches are made to be worn every day for life. Whether they are or aren't, is totally up to the owner, not to the watch..

I wear mine as much as some of my other watches but I guess I wear my Bluesy, JC Deep Blue and my newest Sub LV the most. Years ago, I could not afford or find a Daytona so I guess when this came along in 2016, it felt and still feels very special!

I’d say those who want to wear the watch for what it is fall under the grail watch category. If someone is just choosing to ignore the clout of this model they could be taken as pretentious.

Based on your description, the black Daytona is the Perfect Daily Rolex … and I agree.

It has all the “specialness” that a Daytona offers but in a less conspicuous package like the Sub LN. It really is perfect.

I own three Rolexes and I usually wear one straight for 3-4 weeks then switch it to another. Just so happens I’ve been wearing my Daytona now for the month of July (but I did put it on a RubberB for summer fun).

I LOVE IT!

Thank you xeal! I am so grateful for the “nice things” I have, but most importantly, the special relationships in my life.

I wear my Daytona the most of all my watches, not everyday but a lot. It's such a beautiful watch and feels so good on that I couldn't imagine keeping in a safe or not wearing it. The fine scratches are okay with me...

I daily my 116500. Here’s a photo of me with it on my bike from last week. Wear it and enjoy!

It’s meant to be worn daily.

I do not daily mine because I often need something a little more readable and more water resistant. At times I need something that goes a little more under the radar as well.

But, if none of these things concern you, there’s absolutely no reason to not daily any Rolex piece.

Wear your watch or don’t.
It’s because of people like you I haven’t been on here in months. The OP has done absolutely no harm in asking this question. Nothing has changed on here. This forum has some real experts and some lovely people. Unfortunately it also has a reputation for being non approachable which has been evidenced by you and that other non helpful person above who provided a similar answer.

To the OP, congratulations mate if you aren’t bothered about polished centre links looking pristine then go for it. Like someone else said this watch is designed to be a daily wearer. Enjoy!

Using mine as a daily wear. It's just a watch and it's meant to be worn so enjoy what you have and wear it.

Watches work for me, I don't work for them. If I bought it, I like it and Ill wear it whenever I please.

People coveting basic stainless Rolex is laughable. Keep it mint for the next guy. (( rolleyes ))

Ok, so if I give you a snarky comment will you leave for another few months?

This is amazing, Kudos to you! Just wear it and enjoy it. Service it when needs servicing, polish when you feel like polishing.
